Biography

I recently completed my master’s degree and training as a general obstetrics and gynaecology specialist at Tygerberg Hospital and Stellenbosch University. I am currently working as a clinical research fellow and pursuing a PhD degree. My research project, the Cervical Assessment REsearch (CARE) Study, will focus on cervical remodelling and the use of biomarkers to predict spontaneous preterm birth in women presenting with symptoms of preterm labour.
